Singer-songwriter Kenny Edwards, 64, lost his battles with prostate cancer and the blood disorder TTP on Aug. 18th. Edwards released only two solo albums (2002's self-titled and 2009's Resurrection Road) but was a collaborator on albums going back to his band The Stone Poneys in 1967 backing Linda Ronstadt. During the 1980s he worked with Ronstadt, Rita Coolidge, Karla Bonoff, Don Henley, Warren Zevon, Stevie Nicks, Ringo Starr and Ronstadt/Dolly Parton/Emmylou Harris.
