It seems that the medical emergency to Great White vocalist Jack Russell was due to a perforated bowel. The surgery to fix the hole in his bowel was successful and he remains in a Southern California hospital as his condition improves. According to management, for 48 hours there was a question as to if he would live. Meanwhile, Paul Shortino has been brought in for Great White's Swedish show on Sept. 11th.
