It seems that U2 are re-thinking the release of their next album. Bono recently told Rolling Stone, "No Line On The Horizon is not very accessible, lyrically or musically. We put out a really difficult record -- I have to admit that. If I was a teenager, it would be like a European movie. It's arthouse." The band had planned to release the companion album, Songs Of Ascent, next but, with the lower sales figures on what it's a companion to, they are looking at two other albums that they've recorded (one more club-sounding and another more rock.)
Quiet Riot's 1986 album, QRIII, and 1988's self-titled Paul Shortino-fronted release have been reissued by Rock Candy Records.

Country artist Bill Phillips, 74, passed away on Aug. 23rd. Phillips chart career began with 1958's "Lying Lips" and ended during the 1980s scoring a total of 4 U.S. country top 10 hits. During the decade, he would release one album, 1980's When Can We Do This Again, and two singles (1981's Dance The Night Away" and 1987's "One By One.") Phillips' 1966 hit, "Put It Off Until Tomorrow," holds the distinctions of being his biggest hit, having a -- then 19 year-old -- Dolly Parton on vocal harmony (although uncredited) and being the first hit penned by Parton. A funeral service is expected to take place today at 1pm in Tennessee.
