It seems that Jo Ann Fonzone has given up on David Lee Roth and has filed for divorce in Lehigh County Court. The problem is... that Roth isn't married. Fonzone hasn't been able to come up with photos of the happy couple or even a marriage certificate as she claims she left them in California when she separated from him in 1993. It seems that the court has waived the filing fee as she can't afford it -- as this is the 18th defendant that she's filed a lawsuit, complaint or appeal in federal and county courts since 1997.
Anthrax have officially announced that Joey Belladonna has rejoined the band. After the final summer shows in early August, the band plan to head back the the U.S. to start writing and rehearsing for a new album due out early next year. According to Charlie Benante, "There are five or six songs from a year ago that we don't want to change, we love them the way they are, other than having Joey making them his own with his vocals. Then there's another five or six that we may want to rework, and then there are a bunch of other tunes that are still in the early stages, that we want to finish."

It was only last year when former Warrant frontman Jani Lane was sentenced to 2 days in jail, 36 months probation, alcohol education classes and community service for driving under the influence. It seems that the singer was pulled over by officers on May 9th in the Woodland Hills area of California and booked on suspicion of DUI. According to an LAPD spokesman, Lane, 46, allegedly sideswiped a parked car and later failed a Breathalyzer and field sobriety test. Lane was released around 3 a.m. the following morning and could be looking at some serious time if found in violation of his probation.
Lawrence Gowan plans to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his Strange Animal album with the release of Return Of The Strange Animal, a double-disc remastered version that includes a documentary on the album.
Bret Michaels' new ballad, "Watsted Time," from his upcoming album, Custom Built, has been released at iTunes.

Def Leppard and Quireboys fans will want to pick up next month's issue of Classic Rock magazine as it will include the album, My Re Generation, by Joe Elliott's Down'n'Outz. The album will be released to stores in July.
X guitarist Billy Zoom, 62, reportedly underwent a successful radical prostatectomy in March. The disease was caught in its very early stages and his post-operative pathology reports are all looking good.

The Swans plan to release their first new album since 1997's Soundtracks For The Blind this fall. It is currently being mixed.
Epitaph Records have signed Social Distortion to a deal that will see the band release their first studio effort since 2004 this fall.
Sanctuary's Warrel Dane and Lenny Rutledge will be heading into the studio to work on a reunion album.
Crowded House's new studio album, Intriguer, will be released in a standard and deluxe edition on July 13th via Fantasy Records.

Y&T guitarist Dave Meniketti has recorded a guest solo on the title track to Glyder's third album, Yesterday Today And Tomorrow, due out June 29th via Steamhammer/SPV. (Y&T were originally known as Yesterday & Today on their first two albums.)

Jazz vocalist Lena Horne, 92, passed away on May 9th at the New York Presbyterian Hospital after only a few months of failing health. The singer, actress, civil rights activist and dancer helped break the color barrier becoming the first black performer to sign a long-term contract with a major Hollywood studio. During the 1980s, Horne released the Grammy award-winning Lena Horne: The Lady And Her Music album recorded from her 1981 Broadway musical revue and 1988's Grammy-nominated The Men In My Life.
Bobby Brown proposed onstage to his girlfriend of 3 years and manager, Alicia Etheridge, in Jacksonville, Florida on My 7th. She had joined him on the stage with their 11-month old son Cassius when he popped the question.

Rhino have been celebrating A-ha's 25th anniversary with a three releases from the Norwegian act. In June, Rhino will start shipping exclusive double-disc editions of 1985's Hunting High And Low and 1986's Scoundrel Days featuring the original recordings expanded with unreleased and rare demos, alternate mixes and live recordings. Also their The Singles 1984-2004 19-track collection. Great timing as the band perform their final two U.S. shows this weekend.
