Ozzy Osbourne's Scream dropped 7 spots to #11 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Sarah McLachlan's Laws Of Illusion fell 3 places to #12. Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers' Mojo dropped 5 spots to #16. Carole King & James Taylor's Live At The Troubadour fell 4 places to #19. Glee Cast's Glee: The Music: Journey To Regionals dropped 2 spots to #21. Glee Cast's Glee: The Music: Vol. 3: Showstoppers fell a place to #22. Kenny G's Heart And Soul debuted at #33.

oHgr will release the new digital single, "Tragek." According to them, the release celebrates their becoming "unchained from the legal ties that bound our ability to self-release the music you have been wondering about." The recording had been in limbo after SPV went into bankruptcy.
The Swans will release, My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky, their first album in 13 years on Sept. 21st via Young God Records.

Slash has reportedly recorded his recent performance in Manchester for a live album due out at a future date.
The Hooters have released, 5X5, a new 5-track EP out in Europe. The set includes versions of their songwriting team's original hit compositions for Cyndi Lauper ("Time After Time") and Joan Osbourne ("One Of Us") as well as a the song, "Pissing In The Rhine," sung in German. It can be found here with samples.
Magnum are still hard at work in the studio on, The Visitation, their new album due out in January via Steamhammer/SPV.

The Mission U.K.'s Wayne Hussey and All About Eve's Julianne Regan have resumed work on their collaborative album (tentatively titled Old, New, Borrowed, & Blue) which they hope to release later this year. They will be using the name Hussey-Regan for the project and it includes covers of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence," Duran Duran's "Ordinary World," a Mission U.K. song and one by All About Eve as well as some new compositions.

20 years after her last release, Anna Domino has released a new single, "Blood Makes Noise," a cover of the Suzanne Vega hit. The song is a part of Allergy To Consciousness which is a singles series released on alternative/minimalist independent music label EnT-T.

Celine Dion announced in a brief statement that she and her husband Rene Angelil are expecting twin boys.
Melissa Etheridge's former spouse Tammy Lynn Michaels has fought back against the singer's petition for joint custody of their 3 year-old twins. According to Michaels' lawyer, "Melissa has not been treating Tammy or the children as if they were a wife and children, financially or otherwise." The actress' lawyer has said that Etheridge left her with just $4 to her name. Etheridge's lawyer claims, "Melissa is paying all of Tammy's expenses, which totals tens of thousands of dollars per month."
So, if things don't work out for Bret Michaels to be the next American Idol judge, he may be looking at Rock Star. Some rumors have surfaced that he may help relaunch the CBS series Rock Star (previously INXS and Supernova.)
El DeBarge has signed a new recording deal with Geffen for the release of, Second Chance, his first new album since 1994 on Sept. 28th. He debuted the title track as well as a few hits at the 2010 BET Awards.

Guitarist Tony Iommi has confirmed that the Dio tribute performance will be the last outing for Heaven And Hell.

On Tuesday, an Australian judge ordered EMI Songs Australia, Men At Work songwriters Colin Hay and Ron Strykert to turn over 5% of their royalties from their hit "Down Under" to Larrikin Music Publishing after the court previously ruled that a substantial part of the song came from a children's campfire song. An appeal over the original ruling is pending.
Ted Nugent's Happy Defiance Day Everyday song bundle went to #1 on Amazon's MP3 store on Saturday, July 3rd. The 30-track collection was made available for 76 cents in honor of 1776.
Sepultura have signed a new recording deal with Nuclear Blast Records for their next release expected in 2011.
Kingdom Of Evil, the debut album by Angels Of Babylon (comprised of members of Manowar and Megadeth bassist David Ellefson), will get a U.S. release on July 27th. Despite being released earlier this year in Japan and Europe, the album will get 3 previously unreleased tracks.
Megadeth's Dave Mustaine has announced that his autobiography, Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir, will be published on Aug. 3rd. The U.K. edition will have a different cover and title (Mustaine: A Life In Metal.)
According to NME, Nick Cave's novel, The Death Of Bunny Munro, is going to be made into a TV mini-series.
Sheila E. has been nominated for an Emmy award for Outstanding Music Direction for PBS' In Performance At The White House: Fiesta Latina. Randy Newman (for "When I'm Gone" from Monk) and Steve Earle (for "This City" from Treme) are up for Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics. Lisa Coleman and Wendy Melvoin (for Nurse Jackie) are up for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music.
George Michael was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of being unfit to drive after police received reports that a car had crashed into a building in north London. Police continue to investigate the incident and Michael has been released on bail with a court date scheduled in August.
Don't expect Prince to release his new album, 20Ten, via iTunes or any other digital download service. He recently told The Daily Mirror, "They won't pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can't get it." He also compared the Internet to MTV. "At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated."
Elton John has teamed with Leon Russell to record the new album The Union -- due out Oct. 19th. The pair worked with John's long-time songwriting partner Bernie Taupin on the tracks that were produced by T Bone Burnett. The collection will also include appearances by Brian Wilson and Neil Young. A tour is expected to follow and possibly another John/Russell album if the 16-track disc is successful. John also has plans to record a solo covers album soon.
The Doobie Brothers have reunited for, World Gone Crazy, their first new album in a decade due out Sept. 28th. The band have re-recorded the song "Nobody" (from their 1971 self-titled debut) which will be the first single. A video has also been filmed for the track.
Congrats to Ringo Starr who celebrated his 70th birthday on July 7th. He performed a concert with his All-Starr Band that night in New York with a very special guest -- Paul McCartney. Yoko Ono, Joe Walsh, Angus Young and Steven Van Zandt were also among those on hand for the festivities.
Man Raze have finished writing about 20 songs for their sophomore effort. They are just working out a time to lay down the tracks. Meanwhile, Man Raze guitarist will rejoin Def Leppard to collaborate on new material for their next album. The band plan to work on the album before they head out on the road next year.
Tony Harnell & The Mercury Train's debut album, Round Trip, will be released on July 27th. The video for the first single, "Northern Lights," recently debuted on YouTube.
