Parliament-Funkadelic and James Brown guitarist Phelps "Catfish" Collins, 66, lost his long battle with cancer on Friday. During the 80s, Phelps continued to play with Parliament-Funkadelic until 1983 and would record on albums by Brown and his younger brother Bootsy.
