R.E.M. has reportedly finished recording their new studio album in Berlin with producer Jacknife Lee. The band are expected to gather to mix the album this fall with the possibility of a spring release. Meanwhile, Peter Buck's Tired Pony side-project released their debut album, The Place We Ran From, this week.
