According to TMZ, Marky Ramone has filed a lawsuit in New York Supreme Court against the people behind his royalties agreement. As drummer of the Ramones for the band's final 15 years, he signed a new royalties deal in 2005 but 3 years later royalty payments ceased. He claims the company in charge of the group's royalties management ignored the contract and took their money. Ramone is asking for $1 million in punitive damages and $175,000 in back royalties he's allegedly owed.
