John Mellencamp will release his 25th album, No Better Than This, on Aug. 3rd. Produced by T-Bone Burnett, the 13 tracks were recorded in mono and have not been overdubbed. Mellencamp has said that he wrote more than 30 songs for the album in about 15 days just before his tour last summer.
