Temptations vocalist Ali-Ollie Woodson [born Ollie Creggett], 58, died on Sunday in southern California after a long battle with throat cancer and leukemia. Woodson joined the Motown group in 1984 replacing Dennis Edwards as the lead vocalist from '84-'87 and rejoined the band in 1989 and stayed until 1996 when health issues got in the way. The band scored several hits during this time period but notably scored a top 10 U.S. hit with Rod Stewart on "The Motown Song."
