Tom Waits latest project has him teaming up with legendary New Orleans jazz collective The Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Inspired by an old 78rpm recording, they recorded covers of Danny Barker's 1947 songs, "Tootie Ma Was A Big Fine Thing" and "Corrine Died On The Battlefield," to be released on limited edition (numbering 504 copies) 78rpm record. The first 100 will come with a custom-made 78rpm record player (which would be the deluxe package priced around $200.) The items can be ordered online at http://www.preservationhall.com starting Nov. 22nd.
