INXS have been sued in New South Wales Supreme Court by Chardonnay Investments , a Virgin Islands-based company that purchased the rights to collect royalties from the airplay of songs of late frontman Michael Hutchence and the use of his image. The lawsuit, against the bandmembers, their management and lawyer, alleges the royalties haven't been paid in full. The suit also seeks a share of profits dating back to 1997 and asks for a partnership between the members be wound up so the royalties could be divided more equally.
