Richard Thompson is going to release his new album, Dream Attic, on Aug. 31st. He recorded the 13 new songs with his 4-piece band during an 8-date tour of the West Coast in February. He recently told Billboard.com that this album was his way of testing the ideas that live recording is cheaper than in the studio and how much people preferred the live albums.
