Originally recorded in 1980 by former Visage and The Skids member Rusty Egan and Landscape's Richard Burgess, the collaborative R.E.R.B. instrumental track, "Shock," has been released via Blitz Club Records and is available as a digital download.

Ricky Martin has been busy working on his new bilingual album due out early next year. The first single will be, "The Best Thing About Me Is You," featuring Joss Stone. That version and another done with Spanish singer Natalia Jimenez head to radio on Nov. 2nd.

Tim Finn has started work on his 9th studio album and is working with Kings Of Leon producer Jacquire King on the project expected out in mid-2011.

Dionne Warwick will celebrate her 50th year in show business with the release of her autobiography, My Life As I See It, on Nov. 2nd. The book was co-written by David Freedman Wooley.

OMD have announced that "Sister Marie Says" will be the next single to be released off their new album, History Of Modern. A new video for the song is expected out next week. "Sister Marie Says" is actually still available (in its demo form) as a free MP3 download at their site OMD.uk.com.

Buddy Guy and B.B. King have a new video for their duet, "Stay Around A Little Longer," off of Guy's Living Proof album -- due out next week.

Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament has donated $40,000 to fund the construction of a skate park in his Big Sandy, Montana, hometown. Ament was at the opening last week and has been a skater since 1976. He also has plans to donate equipment to local children that can't afford it.

The Quireboys will release their new CD/DVD, Live In London, on Nov. 8th. The band recorded the performance in 2004 at the Marquee Club.

Billy Idol has been enjoying the latest line-up of his band which includes longtime guitarist Steve Stevens, bassist Stephen McGrath, guitarist Billy Morrison and drummer Jeremy Colson. They've been delving into some of his Generation X material for live shows and even started writing new material.

Anvil have headed back into the recording studio to work on their next album, Juggernaut Of Justice, with producer Bob Marlette with hopes to release it in the spring.
